Earl Derr Biggers. Seven Keys to Baldpate. Indianapolis: [1913]. First edition.

    More Information:

Earl Derr Biggers. Seven Keys to Baldpate. Indianapolis: The Bobbs-Merrill Company, [1913]. First edition. Octavo. [viii], 408 pages. Frontispiece, with tissue guard, and four additional plates illustrated by Frank Snapp. Publisher's blue cloth, spine and front board lettered in gilt, front board decoratively stamped in blind with design incorporating seven keys; in original dust jacket. Backstrip and top edges very faintly dulled; some light wear to corners and spine ends with two short closed tears to the cloth; bottom edges rubbed. Top edge of text block lightly dust soiled; fore edge faintly foxed. Just a bit of soiling to the endpapers. Dust jacket worn with chipping at both edges of each fold, the largest at the foot of the spine and affecting the "MER" of "MERRILL;" folds worn with closed tear of about one inch at the bottom of the front panel, extending into the spine panel with several corresponding creases; three small dampstains to spine panel; occasional light rubbing. Very good in a good example of the uncommon dust jacket. Source material for a play by George M. Cohan and several film adaptations, the best remembered likely directed by Lew Landers and released in 1947. From the KoKo Collection.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
