Publisher's orange cloth, spine and front lettered in black; all text block edges trimmed, top edge stained black; original illustrated dust jacket. Mild lean to spine; spine ends very slightly pushed and soiled; trace amount of fainter soiling along backstrip; pale specks and a tiny bit of foxing to boards; faint wear along bottom edges. Text block edges tanned and interior softly yellowed from age; uneven discoloration to endpapers from binder's glue; some leaves, particularly at front of text block, with vertical browning pattern. A bit of chipping at jacket spine ends; light wear and creasing at folds; mild rubbing, scratching, spot-soiling and edge wear to front and rear panels; nicking at flap fold ends. Some light spotting at verso.

Publisher's light greenish-gray cloth, spine and front stamped in dark red; fore-edge untrimmed, top edge stained dark red; original illustrated dust jacket. Slight lean to spine; lower front corner just barely tapped. Text block slightly dulled; top edge a bit dusty; bookseller's ticket at rear pastedown. Light edge wear to jacket; a bit of mild rubbing and thumbsoiling at rear panel; soft creasing to flap folds; trace of rubbing at verso. Essentially fine book in a near fine jacket. Queen's Quorum 93.
