Publisher's black cloth, spine lettered in orange; all text block edges trimmed; original dust jacket printed on yellow paper. Spine ends softened and a bit worn, slight roll to foot of spine; cloth generally lightly rubbed with a few specks of soiling; minor wear along bottom edges of boards; corners slightly tapped. Text block very slightly yellowed with age; mild abrasion and some dust-soiling to top edge; a bit of discoloration at free endpapers from exposure to pastedowns. Jacket rubbed and lightly soiled; spine panel tanned; nicking at spine and flap fold ends, a bit at head of front and rear panels; tear, about four inches long, extending down from head of front panel, reinforced with clear tape at verso; shorter tear at head of front flap fold also taped at verso; top edges of flaps tanned and rumpled. Light rubbing at verso. Near fine book in a very good jacket.
