Publisher's black cloth, spine lettered in orange; all text block edges trimmed; original dust jacket printed on yellow paper. Cloth generally rubbed and spotted with pale soiling; spine ends just a tiny bit rolled; minimal wear along bottom edges. Text block softly dulled; top edge dust-soiled; some faint spotting at fore-edge; small bump to a handful of page corners at bottom. Jacket lightly rubbed, with some thumbsoiling at rear; nicking to spine and flap fold ends; spine and flap folds tanned with a few small abrasions; top edge of jacket curled with several minuscule tears. Near fine. With book label of Florence and Edward Kaye affixed to front pastedown. Other contributors include Freeman Wills Crofts, David Hume, and others.
