Publisher's black cloth, spine lettered in gilt; all text block edges trimmed; original jacket printed on yellow paper with red wraparound promotional band. Spine ends slightly rolled and worn; some very faint spots of soiling to boards, visible only in raking light; light wear with a couple of small taps to bottom edges. Text block softly dulled; top edge dust-soiled; handful of small spots to bottom edge. Jacket spine panel sunned just a shade, with light wear and a bit of nicking at ends; exposed panels rubbed with some smudges of thumbsoiling; trace of wear along edges, with a few tiny tears; short split starting at foot of rear flap fold. Spine section of wraparound band dulled. Near fine.
