Riddles Read in illustrated paper-covered boards; all other volumes in publisher's cloth, fronts and spines stamped, Tracked with publisher's device stamped at rear; all edges of Riddles trimmed, other text block edges mostly untrimmed; cloth volumes with floral endpapers, Riddles with advertisement endpapers. All spines but Tyler Tatlock skewed; backstrips dulled; spine ends pushed; boards generally soiled; corners bumped, with lower corners of Vincent Trill stained with white paint. Paper of Riddles Read chipping and splitting at spine ends, joints, and board edges; boards rubbed and soiled. Text block edges dulled, with top edges dust-soiled; Vincent Trill and Tyler Tatlock text blocks foxed; foxing to first and last few leaves of Tracked; embossed bookseller stamp at front free endpapers of Tracked and Vincent Trill, with previous owner signatures and half-title and recto of front free endpaper, respectively; last few pages of Tracked rear ads roughly opened. About very good overall.
