Publisher's light blue cloth, backed in black with white-lettered spine; original illustrated dust jacket. Minor edgewear, head and foot of spine just pushed. Endpapers slightly toned. Internally clean; minor edgewear, fore and tail edge untrimmed. Dust jacket unclipped (price $3.00): minor edgewear; spine panel sunned, minor soiling on back panel, spine reinforced on verso with clear tape. Very good book with very good dust jacket.

Presentation copy, signed and inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper recto, "For Max Coulson - / Kindliest best wishes / and my most sincere / thanks for his / many favors. / Peace / Davis Grubb / January / 1964. Octavo. 270 pages. Publisher's dark blue cloth with silver-lettered spine; original illustrated dust jacket. Internally clean; paged unevenly toned. Dust jacket unclipped (price 10s. 6d.); very minor wear to head and foot of spine panel, minor soiling on back panel, colors bright. Near fine book with near fine dust jacket.
