Publisher's full black cloth, front and spine lettered in gilt; all text block edges trimmed; original jacket printed in black and magenta on yellow paper. Minimal shelf and joint wear at extremities of binding; bottom end of spine end gently pushed; mild rubbing to cloth; slight bumping to lower corners and edges of boards; shallow gouge to rear board. Light age toning to edges of text block, faintly speckled with a few shallow scratches; very mild dust-soiling to top edge. Normal age yellowing to interior; soft crease across title-page, likely as issued; previous owner bookplate tipped to front pastedown. Spine panel of jacket sunned with small hole toward bottom; some rubbing and soiling to exposed panels of jacket; general fairly mild edge wear with very slight loss of paper at spine and flap fold ends. Single small tape repair at verso, at bottom of spine. About near fine. A Haycraft Queen Cornerstone.
