Craig Rice. Home Sweet Homicide. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1944. First edition.
Octavo. [vi], 311, [3, blank] pages. Publisher's full black cloth, spine lettered in gilt. In the original publisher's price-clipped dust jacket. Cloth spine a bit dull, some edgewear to spine and boards, some faint thumbsoiling to boards, minor toning to endleaves and text. Jacket spine is sunned, some edgewear, chipping, and creased tears to edge of spine and panels, some light thumbsoiling to jacket, sticker residue on upper corner of rear jacket flap. Laid-in is the publisher's comment card for this book, asking consumers to answer questions about Home Sweet Homicide and mail the card back to them (no writing on card). Very good.

Basis for the 1946 Film, directed by Lloyd Bacon.
