Various paginations. Full publisher's cloth, four in gray with fronts and spines stamped in red, one in blue with front and spine stamped in black. Original illustrated dust jackets. Edges untrimmed; all top edges trimmed, two stained red, one stained light gray. Varied but overall mild to moderate shelf wear at extremities of bindings; spine ends softened and about to fray on three volumes; a few volumes with some mild discoloration at backstrips, joints, and edges; one or two gentle bumps; occasional light soiling, mostly visible only in raking light. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; handful of surface abrasions, areas of rubbing; top edges of Crimson Gull and Jade Monkey slightly discolored from dust-soiling. Previous owner signatures to front free endpapers of Scarlet Crab and Black Sombrero; lending library stamp at front free endpaper of Crimson Gull. Overall mild to moderate edge wear with light fraying to jackets; some rubbing, soft creasing and soiling; slightly more extensive chipping to Crimson Gull and Jade Monkey; joint and flap folds weakening on a few jackets, but all still sound; Splintered Heart with tape residue at flaps and front panel. Small, toned tape repair at verso of Crimson Gull; extensive duct-tape reinforcement at verso of Jade Monkey. Books about near fine to very nearly fine, in in good to about near fine jackets.
