    Charles G. Booth. Gold Bullets. New York: William Morrow & Company, 1929. First edition. Signed. Octavo. vi, [2], 306 pages. Publisher's full blue cloth, front and spine stamped in yellow. Original bue and yellow illustrated dust jacket with gold wraparound band and gold bookmark in the shape of a bullet, both printed in black. All edges trimmed. Speckles of soiling to backstrip and two larger spots to front board; minor shelf wear at extremities of binding. Wear to dust jacket, particularly at spine ends, with 1.25" chip detached and laid in at top; a scattering of other, much smaller chips at bottom of spine, top edge of rear panel, and ends of flap folds; mild toning; flaps clipped. Rubbing to band with a few tiny tears and chips. Bookmark creased. Edges of text block slightly toned and foxed. Very good.

Publisher's full red cloth; front and spine stamped in black. Original illustrated dust jacket printed in red and black. All edges trimmed; top edge stained black. Pictorial endpapers. Very minor shelf wear at extremities of binding; lettering slightly rubbed at spine. Dust jacket toned unevenly and reinforced with brown paper at top edge, spine panel and flap folds; red and black color correction applied to spine ends, top of front flap fold to mask chipping; a few short closed tears at edges; some soft creasing; flaps clipped. Extremely mild toning to edges and interior of text block. A near fine book in a very good dust jacket. Previous owner's engraved bookplate affixed to front pastedown.
