Publisher's bright blue cloth, front and spine lettered in black; top edge of the text block stained red, others untrimmed; in the original illustrated dust jacket. Mild shelf wear and darkening at extremities of binding. Top edge of text block slightly dust soiled; normal age toning to all others. Faint yellowing of endpapers from exposure to jacket. Dust jacket lightly sunned, particularly at spine panel; a few small chips along top edge with smaller amount of paper loss at bottoms of spine and flap folds; a few short tears scattered along top and bottom edges; some rubbing and mild scuff marks. Near fine in a very good jacket. Featuring Daly's hard-boiled private eye, Race Williams. From the Otto Penzler Collection of Mystery Fiction.
