Publisher's full gray cloth; spine lettered in red with publisher's device stamped in blind; front board ruled in blind. Original illustrated dust jacket. Top edge trimmed; others untrimmed. Mild shelf wear at extremities of binding; upper rear corner bumped; touch of soiling at spine ends. Top edge of text block slightly dust-soiled; regular age toning to other edges and interior. Jacket slightly rubbed with tiny amount of paper loss at edges, particularly ends of spine panel; soft creasing at joint and flap folds; faint tidemark at base of spine visible only at verso; flaps clipped. Near fine book in a very good jacket. Featuring Daly's hard-boiled private eye, Race Williams. From the Otto Penzler Collection of Mystery Fiction.
