Publisher's full red cloth, spine lettered in silver with gold revolver decoration. Original illustrated dust jacket. All edges trimmed. Mild shelf wear at extremities of binding; small bump to bottom of front board. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block. Exposed panels of dust jacket slightly toned and rubbed; some wear at joint and flap folds; a few small chips at top of spine and flap folds; inking at rear panel. Several small tape repairs and reinforcements at verso, one or two closing tears that are not visible at recto. Near fine.

Original illustrated dust jacket. All edges trimmed. Slight shelf wear at extremities of binding. Regular light age toning to edges and interior of text block; some faint scuffing to edges. Some light rubbing and faint toning to jacket; short splits starting from rear joint and flap folds; one short tear up from bottom of rear panel; tiny amount of paper loss to spine ends. A fine book in a near fine jacket. Daly's final book. From the Otto Penzler Collection of Mystery Fiction.
