[iv], 329, [1, blank] pages; frontispiece (tissue-guarded) and numerous intertextual illustrations. Publisher's dark red cloth, spine and front board lettered in gilt, front board ruled in black to outline calling card, which is lacking. Spine ends and two corners expertly restored, backstrip slightly dulled, boards rubbed, just a touch of wear to board edges, front board with remnants of calling card's adhesive. Some very faint marginal browning, last leaf of text toned, one gathering roughly opened with small chips to upper margin, light offsetting to frontis and title-page from tissue guard. A very good, almost invisibly restored, copy with distinguished provenance. From the KoKo Collection.
