Publisher's light green cloth, spine and front lettered in green, front with decorative blind-stamping; fore-edge untrimmed, top edge stained greenish; original illustrated dust jacket. Foot of spine slightly rolled, with some faint smudges of soiling; a few soft bumps and some mild wear along bottom edges of boards; corners tapped. Text block slightly dulled, particularly around edges; office file copy stamp at top edge. Jacket dulled and a bit rubbed, with minor edge wear; light wear and some soft creasing at folds. Near fine.

    [Together with:] Adventures of Blackshirt. New York: Dodd, Mead & Company, 1929. First U. S. edition. Octavo. [6], 290 pages. Publisher's black cloth, spine and front stamped in green, front with decorative paper label; fore-edge untrimmed, top edge stained light green; original illustrated dust jacket printed on green paper. Foot of spine crimped and just starting to show some wear; trace of wear along bottom edges of boards. Previous pricing in purple colored pencil at front pastedown. Jacket dulled at spine panel and along folds; minor wear along edges with some minor nicking and creasing; folds lightly worn and softly creased; top edges of flaps rumpled and a bit discolored. Fine book in a near fine jacket.

Publisher's blue cloth, spine and front lettered in black, front stamped in blind with publisher's insignia; fore-edge untrimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Foot of spine very slightly rolled and showing a trace of wear; minor wear along bottom edges. Faint dust-soiling along top edge of text block; rough opening along a few fore-edges. Jacket tanned, with minimal rubbing; nick near head of front panel fold, tinier nicks out of ends of front flap fold; small bump to bottom edge of front panel resulting in two short tears and a soft crease; rear flap fold split to about halfway down, remainder of fold brittle. Fine book in a very nearly fine jacket.
