    Bruce Graeme. Blackshirt the Audacious. London: Hutchinson & Co., [1935]. First edition. Octavo. 256 pages. Publisher's brick red cloth, spine and front lettered in black; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Minor roll to foot of spine; front board very slightly bowed; trace of wear along bottom edges. Handful of small spots of foxing along top and fore-edge of text block; bookseller's ticket affixed to front pastedown; faint discoloration toward bottom of rear hinge. Jacket very lightly rubbed, with just a touch of edge wear resulting in minuscule nicks at flap fold ends; a short tear each (about one inch) at feet of front folds, with front panel between them wrinkled; a couple of faint spots of foxing at verso. Essentially fine book in a near fine jacket.

    [Together with:] Blackshirt the Adventurer. A New Blackshirt Adventure. London: Hutchinson & Co., [1936]. First edition. Octavo. 255, [1], 16 [ads] pages. Publisher's orange cloth, spine and front lettered in black; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Crease starting along vertical length of spine; minimal wear at foot of spine and bottom edges of boards. Text block lightly foxed around edges; occasional, marginal spot of foxing to first and last few leaves. Minimal rubbing to jacket; a few stray soft creases and scuff marks. Trace of rubbing and couple small spots of foxing at verso. About fine.

    [And:] Blackshirt Takes a Hand. London: Hutchinson & Co., [1937]. First edition. Octavo. [4], 9-256, 20 [ads] pages. Publisher's red cloth, spine and front lettered in black; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends slightly pushed, wear at foot; mild discoloration to cloth; some soft bumping at fore-edge; minor wear along bottom edges, with a couple of small holes at cloth. Text block dulled; a bit of soiling and scratching to edges; endpapers lightly discolored and foxed, particularly at front, with previous owner signature at front free endpaper; occasional faint, marginal spots of foxing or soiling scattered throughout interior. Several chips, short tears, and holes to jacket, all reinforced with clear tape at verso; jacket tanned, with mild rubbing and a moderate amount of soiling, damp staining, the majority of which is at rear panel; top edges of flaps rumpled. Near fine book in a good jacket.
