[8], 322, [6, ads] pages. Full-page illustrations by D. Murray Smith. Publisher's red cloth, spine and front stamped in gilt; text block edges untrimmed. Spine ends softly rolled and just beginning to show a trace of wear; backstrip dulled; text block rubbed with a few small scratches and faint smudges of soiling; minor wear along bottom edges; corners tapped. Text block edges dulled with age; top edge dust-soiled; remaining edges faintly foxed; endpapers foxed; hinges cracking but still sound; embossed stamp at front free endpaper; fairly pale foxing and occasional spot of thumbsoiling scattered throughout interior. Very good. Continuation of the Queen's Quorum title. Goldstone bookplate at front pastedown.

Publisher's light blue cloth, spine stamped in gilt and dark blue, front stamped in red and dark blue; all text block edges trimmed. Backstrip faded; light wear at spine ends; foot of spine slightly pushed; minimal wear along joints; some faint spots of discoloration to boards; mild wear along bottom edges and at corners. Text block softly dulled with age; top edge dust-soiled; a few specks of staining to remaining edges; small inked stamp at front free endpaper. Near fine.
