Dark blue illustrated cloth over beveled boards with titles and illustration in gilt and black; all edges gilt. General light rubbing and wear. Adventures both hinges cracked; light foxing scattered throughout text; bookplate and spots of soiling to the front pastedown. Memoirs cloth rippled on the front board; front hinge starting, rear hinge fully cracked, with backstrip partially separated from the text block; scattered foxing throughout. Very good overall.
