    More Information: Arthur Conan Doyle. Autograph Letter, Initialed. The Hague, The Netherlands: Oct[ober] 11, [1929]. Original letter to an unknown recipient with mention of Doyle's passage by sea and the request to save press clippings with notices of books or personal things; signed "A C D." Single page on Hotels des Indes stationery, 6.875 x 5.125 inches (sight). Matted and framed together with a 1901 Elliott & Fry photograph (presumably original) for an overall size of 14.125 x 17.25 inches. Letter creased vertically and horizontally (mail folds); upper-right corner softly creased; barely soiled with just a couple spots of foxing. Appears near fine, not inspected outside of frame. Doyle travelled to The Netherlands in 1929 for a tour focused on spiritualism. From the collection of Bob Terry.
