Publisher's full blue-gray cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Original dust jacket printed in black on brick-colored paper. All edges trimmed. Binding slightly faded at backstrip and along margins of boards; virtually no shelf wear; top edge a bit dusty. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; top edge slightly dust-soiled. Endpapers unevenly toned; previous owner bookplate tipped to front pastedown. Spine panel of jacket a bit discolored; general light rubbing to exposed panels; edge wear resulting in some slight paper loss and creasing along edges, particularly at spine and flap fold ends; rear joint fold split to a little over halfway up; small tear at bottom of rear panel. Near fine.
