Anna Katharine Green. Three Women and a Mystery. New York: Lovell Publishing Company, 1902. First edition. Octavo (7.75 x 5.75 inches; 198 x 146 mm.). 30, [2, rear wrapper] pages. Publisher's saddle-stapled binding; self-wrappers, cover-title with an engraved illustration. Uniform age toning to paper; edges starting to fray in some spots with some slight paper loss; center fold of wrappers mostly chipped away; wrappers coming detached but secured here and there with spots of glue; tear toward middle of rear wrapper. Very good, almost near fine given the fragility of the item. Housed in custom cloth clamshell with black leather spine label, lettered in gilt. The Leisure Hour Library, No. 60. Rare with no records found in Rare Book Hub and only a single listing in WorldCat (Villanova). From the Otto Penzler Collection of Mystery Fiction.
