Frontispiece and three additional inserted plates by Thomas Fogarty; in-text plan. Publisher's full green cloth, front and spine lettered in pale orange. Original illustrated dust jacket. All edges trimmed. Very minor shelf wear at extremities of binding; spine ends a little pushed. Normal age toning to edges of text block, with some speckle-soiling and two or three small stains that reach into page margins at upper corners. Light wear and toning to exposed panels of jacket; some very slight paper loss and spine and flap fold ends; small hole at lower end of front joint fold; narrow bands of staining along top edges and tops of flap folds. Near fine in an about near fine jacket.

Ballinger; in-text plans. Publisher's full green cloth; front and spine lettered with black; front with arrow ornament stamped in orange and black. Original illustrated dust jacket. Top edge trimmed; others untrimmed. Minimal wear at spine ends and corners of binding. A bit of dust-soiling to top edge of text block. Jacket slightly rubbed at exposed panels with a bit of edge, joint and flap fold wear; small amount of chipping at spine and flap fold ends. Tiny area of tape residue at verso, at top of spine panel. About fine in a near fine dust jacket. With advertisement slip for Behind Closed Doors laid in.

Publisher's full red cloth; front and spine lettered in black; front stamped in blind with publisher's device. Original illustrated dust jacket. Top edge trimmed; all others untrimmed. Spine slightly skewed; barely perceptible shelf wear at extremities of binding. Mild dust-soiling to top edge of text block; normal age toning to other edges. A few small chips along top edge of dust jacket; mild rubbing to exposed panels; some soft creasing with a bit of wear at joint and flap folds. About fine in a very nearly fine jacket.
