Publisher's full teal cloth; front and spine lettered in white; front stamped with white, black and gilt ornament. Original jacket printed in dark blue on blue-green paper. All edges trimmed. Very mild shelf wear at extremities of binding. Minor toning to edges and interior of text block. Light toning to jacket, principally at spine panel and flap folds; slight edge wear with a few small chips at spine and flap fold ends, with some loss to title at spine; 1.75" split at head of front flap fold; a couple of shorter tears from edges of rear panel; flaps clipped. Near fine in rare jacket. From the Otto Penzler Collection of Mystery Fiction.
