Publisher's full dark green cloth; front and spine stamped in light green. Top edge trimmed; others untrimmed. Minor shelf wear at extremities of binding; spine ends pushed with cloth starting to thin; wear along joints with split starting at bottom of front joint; a bit of bumping to corners and edges of boards; rubbing and a touch of light soiling to cloth. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; fore-edges of some pages roughened and starting to fray. Possible bit of insect damage to gutter between title-page and preceding leaf; occasional light foxing scattered throughout. A very good copy of this scarce book. Christie's second novel of detective fiction, and her first book to feature Tommy and Tuppence.
