Publisher's full olive green cloth, front and spine lettered in orange, front with blind rule border; top and bottom edge trimmed, fore-edge untrimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. A bit of bumping to edges of boards; spine ends gently pushed. Top edge of text block dust-soiled, speckled, and stamped "Office File Copy." Normal light age toning to remaining edges and interior of text block; fore-edge a bit softened. Faint, uneven toning to endpapers. Mild rubbing to exposed panels of jacket; some small chips along top and bottom edges, particularly at spine and flap fold ends; mild wear to creases with a few tiny holes at front flap fold; short tear at bottom of front flap; short split starting at bottom of front joint. Very nearly fine. The second book to feature Christie's Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot.
