Publisher's full orange cloth; front and spine lettered in black; front stamped with landscape ornament. Original illustrated dust jacket. Fore-edge untrimmed; others trimmed. Mild shelf wear at extremities of binding; spine ends gently pushed; two soft creases to backstrip; slight discoloration at joints. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; top edge dust-soiled with a few tiny stains. Endpapers rather toned, with previous owner signature effaced from front free endpaper; soft line toward fore-edge margin of first several leaves; few instances of marginal foxing scattered throughout. Jacket a bit toned, with backstrip sunned; mild rubbing with some soft creasing at exposed panels; minimal edge wear; flaps clipped. Very nearly fine.
