    Description

First Edition of One of Agatha Christie's Most Famous Mysteries

Agatha Christie. Ten Little Niggers. London: Crime Club, [1939]. First edition. Octavo. 252, [2, ads] pages. Publisher's orange cloth with black stamping to the spine, original dust jacket. Jacket has had some skilful restoration to the spine and edges. Jacket spine a bit sunned, some mild thumbsoiling to jacket, cloth spine a bit sunned, some light thumbsoiling or dampstaining to binding. Very slightly skewed. Still, a handsome, very good copy. Obviously, a very controversial title only used in Great Britain (for Crime Club editions). In America, it was published as And Then There Were None and was later reissued as Ten Little Indians. An extremely scarce edition in dust jacket and one of Christie's most sought after titles.
