DescriptionAgatha Christie. One, Two, Buckle My Shoe. London: The Crime Club by Collins, 1940. First edition. Octavo (7.25 x 4.875 inches; 183 x 123 mm.). 252,  pages. Publisher's full red cloth, spine lettered in black. Original illustrated dust jacket. All edges trimmed. Virtually no shelf wear at extremities of text block; spine ends gently pushed with wrinkling to backstrip and some smearing of black lettering; two spots of soiling to front board. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; handful of small spots of soiling along top edge. One or two spots of foxing scattered throughout interior. Light edge wear with minimal paper loss at spine and flap fold ends; two tiny tears, one at head of front panel, other at base of rear; light rubbing at exposed panels; minimal wear along folds. Some specks of foxing at verso. Very nearly fine. Final appearance, in novel form, of Detective Chief Inspector Japp.
