Agatha Christie. Murder in Mesopotamia. London: The Crime Club by Collins, 1936. First edition. Octavo. 284,  pages. Publisher's full orange cloth, spine lettered in black. All edges trimmed; top edge stained red. Moderate shelf wear and bumping to binding; spine ends slightly pushed; backstrip lightly discolored; general rubbing and soiling to cloth. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; some rubbing to edges resulting in fading of top-stain and softening of edges; foxing to fore-edge and small pink stain to bottom. Uneven toning to endpapers; mild marginal spot- and thumbsoiling scattered throughout. Very good.
[Together with:] Cards on the Table. London: The Crime Club by Collins, 1936. First edition. Octavo. 286 pages. Publisher's full red-orange cloth, spine lettered in black. All edges trimmed. A bit of shelf and joint wear to binding; spine ends softened; a bit of rubbing to cloth. Light age toning to edges and interior text block; consistent foxing to edges. Previous owner signature to front free endpaper; foxing throughout interior, most pronounced at first and last several leaves of text block. Very good.
[And:] Death on the Nile. London: The Crime Club by Collins, 1937. First edition. Octavo. 284,  pages. Publisher's full red-orange cloth, spine lettered in black. All edges trimmed. Minor shelf wear at extremities of binding; spine ends just starting to fray; backstrip toned; top corner of front board slightly bent with crease visible at both sides; top edge a bit soiled. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; foxing to all edges. Moderate foxing to first and last several leaves of text block. Very good.
