Publisher's blue cloth, spine and front lettered in black with decorative mirror border around title and author; fore-edge untrimmed, others trimmed, top edge stained light blue; original illustrated dust jacket. Slight lean to spine; spine ends a touch pushed and worn; mild discoloration and rubbing at joints; what appears to be speckles of insect damage to cloth; corners tapped with traces of wear. Differences in paper stock resulting in text block yellowing unevenly over time; fore-edges softened with a spot or two of foxing; endpapers very faintly foxed with discoloration toward hinges from binder's glue; previous owner signature at front free endpaper. General light rubbing to exposed panels of jacket with small areas of color loss; mild wear and some soft creasing along joint and flap fold ends, with two small puncture marks at rear joint; minor ripple at front flap; flaps clipped; verso evenly yellowed from age. Near fine.
