Publisher's full bright red cloth, front and spine lettered in black, black-stamped scythe ornament on front; fore-edge untrimmed, others trimmed, top edge stained red; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends pushed with just a trace of wear to cloth; very slight rubbing to bottom corners; lower corners tapped. Text block softly dulled; small spots of discoloration to top edge; some crimping at gutters from binding process. Light wear with minimal paper loss at spine and flap fold ends; soft creasing at joint and flap folds; mild rubbing at exposed panels; small spot or two of thumbsoiling at flaps; flaps clipped; verso faintly yellowed. Near fine.
