Octavo (7.25 x 4.75 inches; 185 x 120 mm.). [8], 403, [1], [4, ads] pages; frontispiece and fifteen illustrated plates inserted throughout. Publisher's dark blue cloth, spine and front board lettered in gilt; all edges rough-trimmed; plain endpapers. Spine gently leaning and very slightly concave; backstrip just a little dulled; spine gilt very lightly worn; joints and spine ends just a little worn; front board very lightly splayed; corners softly bumped and lightly worn. Top-edge of text block dust-soiled; text corners softened; very light foxing to the pages edges; endpapers tanned; mild over-opening throughout; occasional marginal foxing; previous owner signature. About very good. A Haycraft Queen Cornerstone. From the collection of Bob Terry.
