Publisher's dark green cloth, spine and front lettered in gilt with blind-stamped double rule; all text block edges trimmed; original dust jacket. Head of spine just barely pushed, foot crimped; corners tapped. Text block edges slightly dulled; trace of faint dust-soiling to top edge; tear at fore-edge margin of pages 57-58; handful of bottom edges unopened, bottom edge of pages 73-74 roughly opened. Light wear and nicking at ends of jacket spine panel and flap folds; general light rubbing and thumbsoiling to exposed panels, with a few small surface scratches; short tear, less than one inch, at head of front panel fold; tiny, closed hole toward bottom of front panel fold; soft creasing and wear along folds; top edges of flaps just a bit creased and rumpled. Near fine.
