[14], 170, [171-328], [2] pages (note: text block after page 170 encased in printed blue paper seal). Publisher's light purple cloth, spine and front stamped in dark purple; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket printed on yellow paper. Spine ends pushed and just starting to show wear; discoloration along joints; mild rubbing to boards resulting in trace of darkening toward joints; light wear along bottom edges. Text block very slightly dulled; faint dust-soiling along top edge; small stain at bottom edge; previous owner signature at front free endpaper; very mild soiling at rear pastedown; fore-edge of seal faded with pinhole toward top and two tears at middle and toward bottom. Crease running vertical length of jacket spine panel; 1.5-inch tear from bottom edge of front panel, along with a couple of soft creases; mild rubbing, thumbsoiling at rear panel; handful of faint creases to flaps. Near fine.
