Publisher's red cloth, stamped and lettered in blue; top edge stained dark blue, fore-edge untrimmed; in original dust jacket. Spine ends and corners lightly rubbed. Previous owner signature to half-title-page. Dust jacket edges lightly worn with an occasional nick and one small chip to upper edge of rear panel, affecting just the 'i' or 'Borzoi;' spine panel very faintly dulled; rear panel lightly rubbed with a couple small, marginal blemishes; rear flap fold lightly soiled. A near fine copy in a very good jacket. Adapted for the screen in 1986 with a screenplay by Walter Hill and Lukas Heller. From the KoKo Collection.
