Volume I - 280 pp., Volume II - 295 pp., Volume III - 284 pp. Publisher's hunter green cloth, ruled in blind with gilt-stamped spine. All volumes corners bumped; moderate edgewear; boards rubbed overall. Rear hinges in Volume III starting; ink ownership to front pastedown of all volumes; binder's ticket to rear pastedown of Volume I. Internally generally clean; moderate foxing throughout; some intermittent soiling; all edges untrimmed; top-edges darkened. Still very good. First serialized in Belgravia, November 1874 to 1875.
