Octavo. 316, 31 (publisher's catalog, dated September 1911) pages. Publisher's gilt-stamped light blue cloth; later illustrated dust jacket. Corners bumped, minor edgewear, spine slightly cocked, spine sunned, edges of boards toned, partially sprung. Bookplate of Florence and Edward Kaye to front pastedown. Front hinge started. Internally generally clean; text block toned on edges, bottom edge untrimmed, other edges trimmed, minor edgewear, top edge darkened. Dust jacket from Heinemann 1929 edition, unclipped (2s net); moderate edgewear, chipping to head and foot of spine panel and corners, minor soiling on back panel, colors bright. Very good book with very good dust jacket.
