    [Cornell Woolrich]. Strangler's Serenade. By William Irish (pseudonym). New York: Rinehart & Company, [1951]. First edition, first printing with the publisher's device on the copyright page. Octavo (7.5 x 5.125 inches; 190 x 130 mm.). [iv], 249, [3, blank] pages. Publisher's black paper-covered boards, spine lettered and stamped in yellow; top edge of the text block trimmed, others untrimmed; plain endpapers; in a potentially supplied second printing dust jacket, priced $2.50. Spine very gently leaning; rear board with white splotchy discoloration at the upper corner of the rear board; two small central divots on the rear board; bottom of the spine bumped. Top edge of the text a little dust-soiled; both paste downs tanned along the upper edge. Dust jacket creased vertically down the center; soft creasing to the flap folds; verso rubber stamped "fox chase" in small letters in blue ink; none of the discoloration or wear from the rear board is reflected on the jacket. A very good copy with a nice appearance. A Murray Hill Mystery.

Publisher's black paper-covered boards, spine lettered in whitish-blue and lettered and stamped in light purple; top edge of the text block trimmed, others untrimmed; plain endpapers; in the original dust jacket, priced $2.50. Spine ends and corners very lightly worn. Top edge of text very slightly dust-soiled with a single tiny splash toward the fore-edge; endpapers very faintly tanned along the top edge; rubber stamp (faded) applied to the front free endpaper. Dust jacket very lightly rubbed. particularly down the panel folds; small, faint blue stain to the margin of the rear flap. Near fine. A Murray Hill Mystery.
