Rod McKuen. Archive of Manuscript Musical Scores and Printed Sheet Music. Various publishers and dates. A wonderful collection of sheet music, both printed and photocopied; and featuring several pages of Rod McKuen's own manuscript music and lyrics. The manuscripts comprise sixteen sides of blank music sheets, mostly scored in pencil and titled in pen (apparently the working notes for "Touch Me" and "Because We Love"). Six and a half pages of handwritten lyrics such as "Nobody loves you like I do/ + never will...", "For we turn + go/ One more for the road..." and "I won't let you go or be alone tonight...". Includes a six page photo reproduced handwritten score for "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" with holograph pencil markings; and a photo reproduced eight page arrangement for the choir of the "Mc Kuen Retrospective '73" by Billy Byers. Among the printed scores are "Cycles" as recorded by Frank Sinatra, "Games People Play" by Joe South, "Everyone's Gone to the Moon" by Kenneth King, and "La Nuit" by Leo Ferre. Many of the scores have been annotated. Most of the photocopies have been taped together. Pages with edge and fold wear, small fold separations and tears, creases and corner bends, toning, staining, and others signs of general wear. Very good. From the Estate of Rod McKuen.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
