[Vinyl Records - 33 1/3]. [Electronic, Spoken Word, Educational]. Computer Speech: HEE SAW DHUH KAET (He Saw the Cat). Bell Telephone Laboratories, 1963. Monaural. PB-287. One-sided seven inch single in pictorial card sleeve. Promotional recording demonstrating newly developed (at the time) computer programming to synthesize human speech. Notably, the record includes a version of the song Bicycle Built for Two, which nearly five years later, was eerily mimicked by Stanley Kubrick for a famous scene in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. Light rubbing, soiling and edgewear to card sleeve. Vinyl is glossy, with only some minor smudging and surface scratches, not affecting play. Very good ++.
