    Original publisher's pale green boards lettered in dark green, backed with dark green cloth spine lettered in gilt, corners tipped dark green. Some soiling and wear to boards, light wear to spine ends, frontispiece tissue wrinkled and torn, else a very good, attractive and tight copy.

     

    Richardson was only the second American architect to be trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He laid the groundwork in America for the modern architecture to come.
