Mickey Spillane. I, the Jury. New York: 1947. First edition. Inscribed by the author to Otto Penzler. Octavo. 218 pages. Publisher's black cloth, spine and front lettered in red; fore-edge untrimmed, original illustrated dust jacket. Fairly mild bumping and wear to extremities of binding; minor rubbing to boards. Endpapers and text block softly yellowed, with some foxing at endpapers, text block edges, and to first and last few interior leaves. Jacket a bit rubbed; light edge wear resulting in a few small nicks at spine and flap fold ends; split starting at head of front flap fold; a couple of faint drip stains visible at verso. Very good.
