    Andreas Vesalius. [Jan Wandelaar, illustrator]. Plates from Opera Omnia Anatomica & Chirurgica. Lugduni Batavorum: I. du Vivie et J. & H. Verbeek, 1725. Folio. Engraved frontispiece, portrait of Vesalius, and eighty-two engraved plates of anatomical illustrations by Jan Wandelaar. Plates only, no text. Bound in brown calf with gilt border and edge vine designs, seven raised spine bands with leather title label and gilt floral decorations in compartments, marbled endpapers. Bookplate of "B. Richard Stuehler, M.D." on front pastedown. Boards rubbed, scratched, and soiled, corners bumped, spine rubbed with minor loss to head and foot, small tear at foot, joints cracking; front hinge cracked, small hole in the image area of plate 66, pages with occasional light smudging and soiling, and some foxing; nonetheless a wonderful plate book in very good condition.
