    [Pharmacopeia]. Pierre Pomet. Histoire Générale des Drogues. Paris: Jean-Baptiste Loyson, et al., 1694. First edition. Folio. Approximately 15.25 x 9.75 inches. [x], 304, 1-108, 1-116, [39, Table and Appendix] pages. Bound without the half-title and engraved portrait. Profusely illustrated with detailed woodcuts of plants and animals. Title-page printed in red and black. Contemporary full brown calf, spine tooled in gilt in compartments, burgundy gilt morocco lettering label. Binding worn and scuffed, spine chipped and missing panel near headcap, joints and hinges cracking, hinges with old repairs, old tape on rear pastedown, front free endpaper creased. Text with minor occasional foxing and a few short tears. Bookplate of Dr. Frederic South on front pastedown. Still, a good copy with text fairly clean.
