Paris: Apud Carolam Guillard, sub Sole aureo, & Gulielmu (m) desbois, sub Cruce alba, via ad divum Iacobum, 1546. Octavo. [40], 539 leaves. Large decorated initials, including a large inhabited initial letter "D" on verso of leaf 62, signed in block "C.G.". Contemporary elaborately tooled calf, upper board panel with heads and initials "V.D.", lower board panel with Latin motto and animal stamps. Boards rubbed and scratched with losses and chips, old repairs, decorated spine rubbed and cracking, joints cracked, holograph ink title on fore-edge. Bookplate on front pastedown, ink stamp on title page from the "Library of the Medical Society County of Kings," three holograph ex-libris (struck out) and pencil name of editor on the title page, occasional underlining and holograph annotations, light dampstains on the first few front and last few rear pages, occasional soiling and foxing, else in very good condition.
