    Maxfield Parrish. "Garden of Opportunity". Detroit: Detroit Publishing Co., 1911, 1915 (actually somewhat later). Chromolithograph reproduction of Parrish's original triptych painting "Garden of Opportunity" painted in 1911 and 1915. Image approximately 21.5 x 25 inches. Framed in a lovely wooden frame enameled in white. Some wear and chipping to frame. Still, near fine.

    More Information:

    One of the foremost illustrators of the 20th century, Maxfield Parrish is set apart by his unique style. He mastered effects of light and shade, employing a painstaking shading technique and luminous colors, particularly a bright blue. His famous painting "Daybreak," sold millions of copies as a print and has been used in print and television advertisements.
