Max Ernst. Une Semaine de Bonté. Ou les Sept Éléments Capitaux. Paris: Éditions Jeanne Bucher, 1934. First edition, limited to 828 copies, of which this is one of 800 copies on papier Navarre, numbered 490. Five parts. Large octavo (10.675 x 8.675 inches). Various unnumbered paginations. Majority of text block comprised of full-page illustrations. Publisher's perfect bindings, original colored-paper wrappers, with black letterpress at front. General mild sunning to backstrips of some volumes, with a bit of discoloration at edges of a few wrappers; fairly mild edge wear; tidemarks at bottom edges of wrappers and extending into bottom edges of text blocks; pages softly dulled with age. Very good.
