[i]-xvi, [17]-274, [275], [1, blank], [4, advertisements], [2, blank] pages. Ads dated December 1st, 1876. Publisher's half-morocco, spine lettered in gilt, all edges gilt. Modest rubbing to joints and extremities, a bit of scuffing to gilt of page edges. Tom Sawyer postage stamp on lower left of title page, some light margin staining to pages 153-164 as well as the rear endpaper, dust soiling with thumbprints sporadically throughout, front free endpaper detached but present, rear hinge cracked, rear endpaper and terminal blank loose. Very good, housed in a chemise and custom quarter-leather slipcase.
