Cancelled title leaf with copyright notice dated 1884, page 283 cancelled with corrected engraving, and uncorrected text at pages 9, 13, and 157. Octavo. 366 pages. Illustrated. Publisher's pictorial green cloth, stamped in black and gilt. Corners bumped and rubbed, moderate edgewear, head and foot of spine pushed and worn, somewhat rubbed. Endpapers slightly toned with light foxing, rear endpapers with moderate soiling. Gutter cracked at frontispiece, frontispiece with some thumbsoiling, text block lightly toned in margins, minor intermittent foxing, minor text block edgewear. Very good.
